Hello!

I have my models defined in XText, after reading them from the HD they are stored as normal EMF models. In the next processing step I want to analyse them using EOL programmatically.
How can this be done, since I can just execute EOL on something derived from IModel? In the worst case, I would have to read the model again from the harddisk or implement the whole IModel interface. Are there any other suggestions?

Hi Markus,

You can use an InMemoryEmfModel to wrap an existing EMF resource. An example that shows how to do this is available here: https://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/modeling/org.eclipse.gmt.epsilon/trunk/examples/org.eclipse.epsilon.eugenia.examples.friends.callegl (you'll need to check out all the org...friends.* sibling projects to get this to work)
