Hello everybody

While installing tptp 4.7.2 from [1], the installing software dialog is hanging while fetching download.php from [2]
How can I make the install run ?

I'm using SpringSource Tool Suite:
Version: 2.6.0.RELEASE
Build Id: 201103161000

[1] download.eclipse.org/tptp/updates/
[2] www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/tptp/updateformant=xml&countrycode=us?timeZone=1&format=xml

Hi Marco,

this looks like an infrastructure problem on eclipse.org to me. I would recommend to wait and retry at a later date.

Thanks. I also think so. My posing is more like a 'hey guys, something isn't working with the installation procedure'. I'll wait Wink

Hi Marco,

I personally prefer installing plugins from zip files for this very reason.

Yes, you're right. As a workaround for all of those who have the same problem, you can download the complete runtime package (without the required dependencies) from [1] (direct), or [2] (overview) and unpack it where your eclipse is installed. You may also try to install the required dependencies over eclipe's regular installation way.
