All I want to do is to run a simple unit test. But before launching the test eclipse is trying to compile all other open projects which takes 10 times more time than just running the unit test. This is so annoying. How can I disable this feature?

Are the other projects part of the test's launch configuration?

No they aren't. They only share the same parent pom file as I am using maven to organize my project.
