Hi

the behaviour of enums changed from oAW to Xtext as e.g.
described in [1]

question: as we now have to write extensions to correctly set enum default values I think it would be much better to extend the current syntax for enums in Xtext to specify the default value there as:
1. it is a reoccurring task
2. people have to write the same modeltransformation again and again
3. if I rename the enum in my .xtext file I can easily forget the .ext file
4. as 3. shows on aspect (or workaround) is distributed over several files which is bad for maintanance.

should i file a bugzilla for this ?
