MagicDraw does not use Eclipse UML2 as its native format (yet), so this is not the right forum for that kind of question. You might want to ask that on the MagicDraw support forum.

thanks Rafeal but I usually creates diagrams in magicdraw and export them as UML2 and they are opened in Eclipse.
I did not understand your answer, is it that my diagrams are opened due to their correct UML format not because it is the standard for magicdraw, magicdraw uses many standards.
but the error shows that the problem is that because the file is somehow UML1.4 which is not supported by magicdraw
but far away fro this problem cant i convert it to UML2 though??
I will try to find the MagicDraw forum if it exists??
