OSEE was architected to be database independent. It can be run on any
SQL compliant relational DB. It is currently running on multiple
projects using the Oracle 10g database. The PostgreSQL database has also
been used for development and also deployment to customers. The current
OSEE Demo is currently bundled with PostgreSQL. In addition, the OSEE
Team is looking into supporting the Derby database. Some effort would be
necessary to port OSEE to MySQL or any other compliant database. If
desired, the OSEE Team could work with the user/developers to help
perform this task.
