Hi!

I was in some meeting where some participants raised an issue that the
Eclipse memory
consumption is raising too much.

As seen that the Eclipse based GUI extensions with some multimedia content
may easily
hold several megs of data (1-40), and with the base Eclipse frameworks
memory footprint the
total memory reqs can be quite high (->slow).

In generally the memory optimization is crucial for larger volumes (and e.g.
the RCP/eRCP
code should be memory optimized)

Does others share this kind of issue, have you had problems with the memory
consumption
in Eclipse environments?
