Why finalize method not overriden for system resource classes? [message #546057]

Why is the finalize method of system resource classes like font,color,image,pattern,cursor has not been overridden...

so that explicit dispose can be called there, instead of user ensuring that these have to be disposed.

Is there any specific reason???
