Java EE Module spontaneously deselected in Project properties [message #218466]

the screen (for 1/1000th of a sec) when I hit "apply" and then "ok"
buttons. When I bring up project properties again, the dependent project I
just selected is deselected. I am able to select 2 other dependent
projects without any glitches.

Any idea what is going on here? I need this 3rd dependent project deployed
to my tomcat Server too.
