this is my first application with eclipse.

i create a new -> web project.
and i start creating jsp and servlet pages withaout problems. but when i
create a hibernate.cfg.xml eclipse make it with red cross.i think that i
should'not use the web project.
so what kind of project i have to use?

If you search hibernate.org, you'll proabably find additional
information there that will give you more detail on how to get it to
work with eclipse and web tools.
