Hi all

I have a few questions about links and their settings.

Is it possible to make a link go from its parent node instead of itself?
And/Or is it possible to make compartments in the emf file show links even if they are minimized?

My situation is that I have the following setup for nodes:
RootNode (has compartment) Object (has compartment) Attribute

The Attribute contains a reference to an attribute it inherits settings from and I was wondering if it would be possible to move that link up to RootNode or at least keep it visible if you minimize Attribute or Object?

Been fiddeling around in the emf file but setting source="parent" didn't work Smile

Hi Mårten,

This sounds fairly low-level so I think that your best bet would be to investigate whether/how this is can be done by modifying the generated code. Perhaps someone over at the GMF forum can provide more hints on how you could go about this.
