Hello,

I would like the Eclipse Java Editor (and Text Editor if it is possible) does line wrapping but without inserting characters.

I explain: You can already do line wrapping in Window > Preferences > Java > Code Style > Formatter > Edit... > Line Wrapping and select "Wrap where necessary".

But it inserts the break lines characters directly in the code when applying it with Ctrl + Shift + F.

What I would like is just an automatic line wrapping when the line is too long to be sure to see all the file content without necessary to use the horizontal scroll-bar.

Some well known editors have this feature:
- Vim
- The Windows notepad (using Format > Word Wrap)

Is there the same feature on Eclipse ?

Thank you.
Regards.
