I have an XMI file and I want a solution to convert an xmi to an xml!.

Hi,

As usual there is no magic, you will need to write a transformation from your metamodel to the xml metamodel and then do the extraction to the xml file.

You can look at this example http://www.eclipse.org/atl/atlTransformations/#Ant2Maven (http://www.eclipse.org/atl/atlTransformations/Ant2Maven/Ant2Maven.zip)
