Hi,

I'm trying to trace a commit operation on the server but haven't been able to hit a breakpoint during the commit operation. I'm trying to trace what happens on the server when the client provides new model packageunits to the server. Can someone direct me to a class/method that is definitely called in the execution path following a commit request from the client?

Where did you set your breakpoints?

The first meaningful place would be in
org.eclipse.emf.cdo.server.internal.net4j.protocol.CommitTransactionIndication.indicatingCommit(CDODataInput, OMMonitor).

Yes again

Although I don't understand why you don't see the same updated post subject as I do. I posted this then modified the post to add [CDO] to the subject immediately afterward... I'm talking within 30 seconds of the original post. I guess it's another quirk of the Eclipse forums. Oh and I added [CDO] to the subject again just to be certain Wink

I suspect that changing posts after they've been submitted is an exclusive feature of the web forum software, which
can't be mirrored to the master nntp: service ;-(
