Eclipse Community ForumsDeploying to Tomcat

wtp tutorials page. I'd like to try and deploy the tutorial's test
servlet to the \tomcat6.0\webapps subdirectory and see it run
independently of Eclipse (instead of running it in a tab window inside
Eclipse).
Could you refer me to a how-to/tutorial/help-topic on how to do this? Or
as an alternative could yo refer me to a resource that explains how to
use WTP to define and make a .war .... from there I would manually drop
it in to the webapps subdir.
Thanks in advance for any advice

Right-click on your web project > Export > WAR file.
