What am I missing? How do I fix this so I can simply save a file with a new filename to a location on a remote server?]]>Reed Bowman2013-02-21T05:36:20-00:00Re: RSE Save As remote?

Maybe this just isn't the forum. Have you tried the Eclipse PDT forum? I
don't know what RSE (remote system explorer) is, so perhaps it's more
closely associated with PHP work? If so, the other forum will at least
help you find someone who understands what you're asking.]]>Russell Bateman2013-06-07T20:17:53-00:00Re: RSE Save As remote?

I have to right-click in the file tree and select New >> File in order to create a blank file with the filename and location I want, then open that file and paste in the contents of whatever file I've been working on. Then I can save it and it shows up on the server.
I also discovered today that when I try to upload through Sftp using drag-and-drop from Finder into the RSE file tree, I can only upload files, not folders. If I drag and drop a single file (or multiple files) it works just fine, but if I drag and drop a folder, nothing is created on the server at all.
This post is about the only thing I've managed to find on the entire internet that describes the same problem. Have you had any luck fixing it?]]>Dave Brandt2013-06-19T02:12:29-00:00Re: RSE Save As remote?
