Eclipse Community ForumsIs the new Papyrus file format compatible with the old papyrus file format?
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/149421/469840/#msg_469840
I am thinking about starting to use the old Papyrus (www.papyrusuml.org)
and later switch to the new Papyrus (www.eclipse.org/mdt) once that is
becoming a bit more completed.
My questions is if the data files are compatible, in other words, can I
start to use the old Papyrus to create UML model files, and just open them
in the new Papyrus later on? Or will that not be possible?
Any suggestions are most welcome.
Kind regards,
Johan]]>Johan 2009-04-22T19:14:40-00:00Re: Is the new Papyrus file format compatible with the old papyrus file format?

In the new papyrus, diagram files will be based on GMF technology. So, we
have planned to develop import tool in order to work on models produced by
the old version of papyrus.

Interchange standard will not be supported any more?
