Eclipse Community Forumscommunication with an embedded RCP
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/137222/432937/#msg_432937
We have embedded our RCP application as a module in a larger Java
application using the EclipseStarter class. This works great but
now we need to invoke functionality in the RCP application from the main
application. Basically I would like to lookup a plugin via
EclipseStarter or perhaps a OSGI mechanisme. Is there any way this can
be achieved ?
(sorry for crossposting)

The OSGi 3.0 spec includes a Jini driver which (theoretically) can
expose plugins to Jini communities. I only know this from reading - I
haven't any practical experience with it (yet).
