Chapter 1 Overview of NAB Framework

1.1 Overview

NAB Framework provides a WYSIWYG environment for developing applications on Eclipse. NAB Framework can implement the application development environments corresponding to various existing GUI toolkits (e.g., MWT and GTK).

Its interface design enables Framework to handle each GUI toolkit library (NTK: Native toolkit) used by CPU native code and to generate source codes in different application description languages. Accordingly, NAB Framework can reduce the amount of work in software development involving an NTK in a GUI environment.
