A new e-book from the Jakarta EE Working Group explores how the platform and the working group help developers, software vendors, and enterprises work more productively, resolve key business challenges, and position themselves for success. Along the way, developers and business leaders share their reasons for adopting Jakarta EE and tell us why they’re so confident in the future of these time-tested and strategically important technologies.
With five working groups bringing specifications to the open source community, the Eclipse Foundation has proven its ability to facilitate the development of code-first, open specifications that enable the compatibility, interoperability, and sustainability of both proprietary and open source independent implementations.
The Eclipse Edge Native Working Group drives the adoption of Edge Computing technologies. It provides services like vendor neutral marketing to the Eclipse Edge Native ecosystem and defines licensing and intellectual property flows that encourage the community to open collaboration.
Overall, the working group's mission is to deliver production-ready open source platforms for the development, operation, and management of Edge Native applications.
