EclipseCon NA Starts Next Week
|
It's less than a week to the start of EclipseCon NA in Reston, Virgina! That means a great selection of
tutorials by
some of the best presenters in the community, six tracks of talks,
a two-day IoT Summit,
a Hackathon for all, a day focused on CDT,
receptions every evening, three very different and very interesting keynote talks,
the IP team at your service, the annual Member Meeting,
posters, BoFs, and more. There's even a rumor about a hosted Late Night in the hotel bar.

The annual face-to-face Eclipse Foundation Member Meeting happens Monday, March 7, on the first day of EclipseCon North America. The meeting begins at 2pm
in Reston ABC, and the agenda is available

Make the Early-bird Talk Deadline for
EclipseCon France
|
The early-bird submission deadline is coming right up. Submit by March 18, and your talk could selected early and promoted to the community. All
talks are due by April 4.

The conference now includes a full day of workshops on Tuesday (7 June), two days of keynotes and sessions on
Wednesday and Thursday (8-9 June), and an Unconference on Friday (10 June).

Foundation Hires Full-time Developer
In support of the commitment to use Friends of Eclipse funds for development, the Eclipse Foundation has
hired Mikaël Barbero as a senior Eclipse Platform developer to drive enhancements and improvements to the Eclipse IDE/Platform.
Mikaël will provide technical leadership to the Eclipse FEEP committee in
identifying priorities and working
closely with the contractors engaged by the Foundation to carry out development tasks.
