    An Eclipse membership teleconference call will be held June 23 at 8:30 am PDT / 11:30 am EST / 3:30 pm GMT. There will be updates on membership, Eclipse projects, marketing and details on the Galileo release.

    Attend a Galileo Edition DemoCamp

    To celebrate the Galileo release in June, the Eclipse Foundation is inviting members to attend and present at Eclipse DemoCamps worldwide. The DemoCamps are informal meetings where people can network, present what they're doing with Eclipse and exchange ideas.
    Over 25 DemoCamps are scheduled in 15 different countries until June 29.

    Sponsor Eclipse Summit Europe

    The 4th annual Eclipse Summit Europe will take place October 27-29 in Ludwigsburg, Germany. The summit is a stimulating and dynamic event for Eclipse users, contributors, add-in providers and service providers to learn, share expertise and discover new opportunities and solutions. Members have a unique opportunity to be an integral part of the entire event through sponsorship at a discounted member rate.

    Community Survey Results

    Eclipse has published the results from the recent community survey. A complete report, called the Open Source Developer Report, is available for review.

    Galileo Release on June 24

    Galileo Galileo is the annual release of projects taking place on June 24. This year it includes 33 projects and over 23 million lines of code. The Eclipse Foundation is running several programs to promote Galileo including a twitter group, blogathon and virtual conference.

    Recent Project Proposals

    The Pave project provides a framework for composing sequences of frequently executed operations. These sequences are called patterns and are meant to provide error proof path for users in the execution of routine tasks.
    Rich Ajax Platform (RAP) Incubator
    The goal of the RAP Incubator project is to experiment with alternative ideas and technologies for enhancing and complementing RAP.
