Aperi Demonstrations

This Flash demo will show how to use the Aperi GUI to discover and probe elements across the storage environment. This module demostrates the process of creating and/or connecting to a CIMOM agent, running a discovery process to determine what devices are available through the agent, and running a probe to get details on those devices through the agent.

Welcome to the introductory demonstration of the Aperi open source storage project. These modules will take us through the Aperi framework's main functions and allow us to see how storage administrators can use it to manage their storage environments.

This Flash demo will show how simple it is to install the Aperi open source management code. The module demostrates the process of downloading the appropriate files from the CVS repository, running the Aperi Configurator, installing the three major Aperi components, and starting the Aperi application.
