Cryptography: Primarily this contribution uses
cryptographic capabilities provided by Java -- namely, SSL, and we invoke some
routines from javax.crypto. We use these capabilities to encrypt and decrypt
data across network connections.
We have also
implemented a simple obfuscation scheme for certain data (basically, XOR).
Finally, we use
java.util.UUID, which provides a 'cryptographically strong pseudo random number
generator'.
